Franchisor Re/Max LLC has relaunched the company’s website with a simplified user interface and data on more than 87 million properties nationwide — both homes for sale and previously sold.
Remax.com is "mobile-ready and tablet-friendly," and the company claims it’s the first franchisor to provide a consistent Web experience across desktops, tablets and smartphones.
Users can tap and swipe through oversized photos of property listings — a "Quiet Mode" even allows them to turn off other content on a page to focus on the large-scale images. Lead forms for Re/Max agents are prominently displayed on listing detail pages.
The remax.com home page continually updates to reflect the user’s search pattern and preferences. Users can save listings and share them via social networks, ranking them based on their desirability.
The features and capabilities of the new remax.com are explained in a video posted by the company on YouTube.
"Remax.com utilizes state-of-the-art technologies and is the most sophisticated technology tool we have ever released," said Re/Max CEO Margaret Kelly in a statement. "Everyone will enjoy the ease of use and the depth of information available on the new remax.com."
The culmination of a yearlong rollout of new consumer-focused technology tools, the new website was built with the help of four companies.
Homes.com created the consumer-facing platform and mobile capability; 1000Watt was a strategic consultant providing the visual design and user experience; The Search Agency designed the SEO architecture and integration; and Reliance Networks powers the agent-facing components and commercial property platform.
