Real estate marketing and design firm 1000watt has released a six-chapter collection of 40 selected blog posts that chronicle the company’s take on the real estate industry from 2007 through 2011.
In the 86-page booklet, "Selected Writings About Real Estate 2007 – 2011," 1000watt co-founders Brian Boero and Marc Davison and their partner, Joel Burslem, give their characteristic customer-centric, smart-brand takes on designing and running a real estate business in the 21st century.
The book is available for free as a PDF download from the firm’s website, as e-reader-friendly versions for the Amazon Kindle and Apple’s reader app iBooks, and in physical form from printer Blurb for $11.18.
Article titles like "Selling sanctuary, sparkle and a path to better branding," "99 problems but video ain’t one," and "Dissolving the bars of your mental cage" capture the image-heavy, crisp, hip aesthetic of the 1000watt brand, and, for anyone who follows their blog, its message.
Chapters are titled "Branding: Lessons in Strange Places," "Bust," "Marketing: Sound, Fury and Common Sense," "A Higher Standard," "SoLoMo, Yo" and "Real Estate 2020."
1000watt has worked with Realtor.com operator Move Inc., Re/Max LLC, New York state brokerage Houlihan Lawrence and multiple listing service software developer W&R Studios.
The company recently upgraded its real estate marketing tool, Nudge, an image-heavy soft marketing tool for brokers and agents that now incorporates users’ custom images from Instagram and other sources.
