Paperless transaction management company dotloop has signed an agreement to provide its platform to the Arizona Association of Realtors’ 39,000 members, allowing them to access form libraries and review, negotiate, counter and sign deals digitally.
The deal, announced today, comes as the Cincinnati-based company, founded in 2009, hones its focus on expanding its client base to include state associations and multiple listing services by hiring industry veteran Chad Humphrey as its director of industry relations.
Humphrey has worked for Move Inc. and, just before joining dotloop, was director of sales and client services at the real estate forms company Form Simplicity.
"The next chapter of our growth focuses on partnering with state associations to protect and grow their revenue streams in the digital world," said dotloop CEO Austin Allison in a statement. "Bringing Chad onboard to lead our efforts is a major step in empowering associations to deliver more member value and introduce new revenue opportunities with dotloop."
"It’s no secret that this shift to online has forced state associations to fundamentally rethink how they continue to monetize forms in a digital world," Humphrey said.
Last month, dotloop announced that it had hired Inman News Chief Evangelist Chris Smith as its "chief paper killer."
Dotloop and real estate online marketplace Trulia signed a joint marketing agreement in August to market each others’ online real estate services to their respective communities.
Last week, dotloop and Toronto-based brokerage Exit Realty announced that dotloop would power the brokerage’s cloud-based business software.
Austin Allison was named Inman News’ Innovator of the Year for 2012.
