Cloud-based brokerage eXp Realty has signed up with HelloFax Inc. to provide its agents with electronic fax and e-signature services.
Kirk Johnson, eXp Realty’s information technology manager, said the company "aims to be a completely paperless brokerage, and HelloFax has helped become part of that system."
Operating in 28 states, eXp Realty is a full-service brokerage that has no "brick-and-mortar" offices. It uses virtual meeting spaces on the Web where brokers, agents and support staff interact to manage and close real estate deals with the use of almost no paper, according to eXp Realty.
HelloFax allows agents to upload contracts from desktops or online locations and send them to clients via email or fax.
Founded in 2010, the San Francisco-based company launched a free e-signature platform, HelloSign, in September.
