Keller Williams Realty Inc. has signed a five-year agreement with global real estate services and marketing provider Proxio Inc. it says will bolster its international presence.
Proxio’s platform provides networking services to more than 500,000 real estate professionals in 100 countries in 19 languages including English, Spanish, Portuguese and French, and is used by brokerages, agents, multiple listing services and real estate associations.
The Proxio platform has been fully integrated into the Keller Williams platform, allowing agents to access Proxio services though their "MyKW" dashboard, the companies said. Keller Williams is uploading its listing inventory daily to Proxio’s international MLS, which Proxio says has information on 2.8 million listings valued at $1.1 trillion.
Providing the Proxio service to Keller Williams agents "will further enable our associates’ success with international buyers and sellers, and we are excited to be working with Proxio as we continue our global growth," said KW Worldwide President Chris Heller in a statement.
Agents who earn a new Keller Williams Global Property Specialist (KW GPS) designation will get a widget for their websites that can translate their listings into any of the languages the Proxio platform supports.
Santa Clara, Calif.-based Proxio acquired social-search app company SocialKandy LLC last month. Currently, Keller Williams has 675 offices and close to 77,000 associates worldwide. In February, the company announced its first overseas "master franchise" in Vietnam.
