Global real estate marketing and networking platform provider Proxio Inc. has acquired SocialKandy LLC, and, having rebranded the company’s social apps Proxio SocialSearch, will make them available in several languages this fall.
The Proxio SocialSearch apps are currently available to Proxio customers in English, and will be available in November in Spanish, Portuguese and French, the company said.
Proxio’s platform provides marketing and networking services in 19 languages to real estate brokerages, agents, multiple listing services and real estate associations worldwide.
Proxio partners with national real estate associations in Brazil, Costa Rica, France, India, the Philippines and Bulgaria. Other partners include the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI), the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA), and U.S. Realtor associations and multiple listing services including the Miami Association of Realtors.
"Our members love the ability to increase their social media exposure by displaying listings in Facebook through this simple and attractive app," said Miami Realtors CEO Teresa King Kinney, in a statement. "With Proxio’s ability to expose the apps to an international market and connect with international buyers, it’s a smart marriage."
SocialKandy co-founder and managing partner Pablo Ceron will serve as Proxio’s vice president of products and services.
"Taking this step with Proxio is a logical progression for our business," Ceron said. "We founded SocialKandy to provide real estate professionals with simple but powerful applications that up to this point were only available to big companies with large social media budgets and specialized personnel. The new Proxio SocialSearch will offer customers advantages beyond anything currently available."
