The Miami Association of Realtors has signed a multiyear partnership agreement to offer its members a news feed service at a discounted rate.
The service, World Property Channel, offers automated and customizable online feeds of real estate news posted to users’ websites. Users can choose to receive feeds of residential, commercial and vacation-related news, both from the U.S. and globally, as well as weekly real estate-related columns.
The service counts global real estate franchiser Re/Max among its national news syndication customers.
Under the agreement, Miami Realtors are offered a 33 percent discount off of the service’s public annual news licensing rates, which vary according to the type of website a user has. The Miami Association of Realtors is the nation’s largest local Realtor association at more than 25,000 members.
"The ability to have fresh, new and leading-edge real estate news from around the world is very important to our members and more importantly, their global customers," said Deborah Boza-Valledor, the association’s chief operating officer, in a statement.
The Miami metro area is one of the top 10 U.S. hotspots for global homebuyers, and, according to a survey conducted in October 2011 on behalf of the association, 83 percent of Miami Realtors had worked with an international client in the previous 12 months.
