The Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate network has added its seventh brokerage this year, Marek Realty Group, a five-member team in Beaufort, S.C., that specializes in residential home and land sales, waterfront properties, corporate and military relocations, REOs and foreclosure properties, and commercial real estate.
The brokerage — the franchisor’s fifth affiliate in South Carolina — will continue to serve the Beaufort area under the leadership of broker-owner Rob Marek, doing business as Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Marek Realty Group.
Most of the company’s waterfront property listings are luxury homes, which will benefit from the brand’s luxury marketing program, Distinctive Collection by Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, which provides tools that cater to luxury homebuyers and sellers, the companies said.
"Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate is a strong and trusted real estate brand, especially in the South," Marek said in a statement. "We have experienced 20 percent year-over-year growth in sales volume since our inception in 2005, and I am confident our growth will continue to accelerate now that we have joined this trusted lifestyle real estate brand."
The Realogy Corp. franchisor has four other affiliated brokerages in South Carolina: Myrtle Beach-based Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Elliott Coastal Living; Aiken-based Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Executive Partners; Charleston-based Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate The Beach Company; and Spartanburg-based Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Young & Company.
Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate’s brokerage network includes approximately 7,000 sales associates and more than 200 offices serving Canada and 24 U.S. states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia and Washington.
