MLSs sign up for ‘SAFE Syndication’

Clareity Security has signed "SAFE Syndication" agreements with four large MLSs to handle measuring and reporting of all listing distribution activity.

The Scottsdale, Ariz.-based firm signed agreements with the My Florida Regional Multiple Listing Service (MFRMLS); the Cooperative MLSs of Contra Costa Association of Realtors; East Bay Regional Data Inc. and the Bay East Association of Realtors; and the Greater Sacramento area’s MetroList Services Inc.

"MLS organizations are struggling to maintain the quality of their data once it leaves the MLS system and to keep up with the ever-growing list of regulations governing sensitive listing data," the company says of its SAFE Syndication offering. "Few organizations have identified all their regulatory mandates, much less have a process for managing compliance with them."

SAFE Syndication manages IDX/VOW data distribution agreements to vendors brokers, agents, franchises and other third parties; manages syndication agreements including authorized sites and other reporting; manages URLs where data is authorized for display; and manages data display rules and changes to agreements.

Atlanta MLS first to use Fusion as standalone platform

Atlanta-based First Multiple Listing Service, which provides services to more than 25,000 real estate professionals in Georgia, is the first to use CoreLogic’s Fusion as a stand-alone MLS system, the companies said.

Fusion offers multitasking, reverse prospecting, map shape drawing tools, demographic content and charts, and an auto-generated "Quick CMA" comparative market analysis.

The new platform is now in use as a parallel system by more than 50 MLSs. CoreLogic offers several other MLS platforms, including MLXchange and TEMPO, InnoVia and Matrix. Matrix was in use by 17 MLSs in North America when CoreLogic acquired Canadian-based Tarasoft Corp. for $30.3 million in September.
