Real estate technology company Point2 will power a property management system for a subsidiary of the California Association of Realtors, Point2 announced Monday.
Point2’s Property Manager platform will underpin the Clarus PropertyManager platform provided by CAR subsidiary Real Estate Business Services Inc. (REBS).
The platform will provide unit availability search, credit checks, rent payment online, and accounting to agents and brokers looking to expand into property management, the announcement said.
Users will also be able to publish rental listings across Point2’s listings syndication network, which includes more than 70 third-party websites and search engines, 20 of which feature rental properties, Point2 said.
Clarus PropertyManager will launch before the end of October and cost $1 per unit per month, with a minimum $50 per month, the company added.
Earlier this month, DIY Real Estate Solutions, another brand belonging to Point2’s parent company, Yardi Systems, was rebranded as the Point2 Property Manager platform. The rebranding "reflects DIY’s increased integration with Point2," Yardi said in a press release.
In an announcement today, Point2 said it had signed a multiyear agreement with EXIT Realty Corp. International to syndicate the company’s property listings across Point2’s network. The deal also means the two companies will co-market Point2’s product offerings to EXIT Realty agents and brokers.
The partnership launches this week at EXIT Realty’s 13th Annual Convention in Nashville, Tenn.
