Phoenix-based franchisor Realty Executives International has completed what the company characterized as an internal reorganization of its leadership team, promoting two employees to newly created positions.
Tom Werning, who was chief financial officer for The Lyle Anderson Co. Inc. before joining Realty Executives in December 2010 as a financial consultant, has been named chief operating officer.
Former Realogy Corp. executive Bryan Brooks, who joined Realty Executives in 2009, was named senior vice president of franchise development.
Werning will focus on managing the company’s support services including marketing, communications, technology, education, events, accounting and human resources. Brooks is managing the company’s international and domestic franchise development, franchise relations, legal compliance, and relocation and referral services departments.
Realty Executives International is on track to match franchise sales numbers from last year and exceed franchisee renewal numbers by 150 percent, owner Rich Rector said in a statement.
Several former members of Realty Executives International’s leadership team, including CEO Glenn Melton, this year launched Professionals Realty Group USA (ProsUSA). The new Scottsdale, Ariz.-based franchisor is backed by investors including Australian-based Professionals Real Estate Group.
