The Hillside, Southwest Hills and Sunnyside neighborhoods in Portland, Ore., were among the most-searched U.S. neighborhoods, based on the volume of searches for for-sale homes in September at Zillow.com, the online real estate company reported.
Zillow estimates the median value of homes in the Hillside neighborhood at $562,200, which is 147 percent above the estimated median value of $228,000 for homes citywide. And Zillow also estimates that the median value of homes in the Southwest Hills neighborhood is $521,400, or 129 percent above the value estimate for the city; and the median value of homes in the Sunnyside neighborhood is $291,900, or 28 percent above median city value.
Four of the five most-searched U.S. neighborhoods — and five of the top 10 — are in Portland and Seattle.
