Atlanta’s Tuxedo Park and Chastain Park neighborhoods were among the most-searched U.S. neighborhoods for for-sale homes in September at Zillow.com, the online real estate company reported.
Zillow estimates the median value of homes in the Tuxedo Park neighborhood at $1.08 million, which is 802 percent higher than the estimated median value of $119,800 for homes citywide. And Zillow estimates that the median value of homes in the Chastain Park area is $545,900, or 456 percent above the value estimate for the city.
Four of the five most popular U.S. neighborhoods — and five of the top 10 — are in Portland, Ore., and Seattle, based on for-sale real estate searches at Zillow.com in September.
