ALAMEDA, Calif. — Virgin America Chief Marketing Officer Porter Gale, HootSuite CEO Ryan Holmes, and Silicon Valley angel investor Ron Conway are part of a lineup of speakers scheduled during the upcoming Real Estate Connect event in San Francisco, which runs from July 27-29, 2011, at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square hotel.
Brian Solis, a digital media analyst, sociologist and futurist who is principal at research advisory firm Altimeter Group, will also take the stage at Real Estate Connect, a 15-year-old event that brings together real estate industry professionals and technologists.
Google’s mobile ads director for the Americas, Jason Spero, as well as New York Times personal tech columnist David Pogue, and marketing and technology guru Matt Trubow of Hidden Ltd., too, are scheduled to speak during the conference.
For the first time this year, Inman News is planning an invitation-only Data Summit event leading up to the main conference, which will feature discussions about real estate listings syndication and data protection, among a range of other topics. That summit is scheduled from July 25-26.
Also, a one-day marketing and tech tune-up for agents, Agent Reboot, is planned on July 26 — just one of dozens of Agent Reboot events scheduled across the country this year. The Agent Reboot and Data Summit events are also planned at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square hotel.

Geolocation, augmented reality, online privacy, tablet and mobile computing, marketing and branding via social media, and new forms of real estate discounts and online analytics are among the scheduled topics at the upcoming conference.
Inman News founder and publisher Brad Inman, who is also founder of digital publishing company Vook, will host a special evening program during the conference that will bring back some of Real Estate Connect’s earliest speakers and technologies and will feature some gadget demonstrations and giveaways.
