Real estate property search and marketing site Trulia.com plans to open a sales and "customer contact" center in Denver next month, the company announced today.
The office will have 25 employees when it opens and plans to hire up to 100 by the end of the year, the company said. Trulia currently has five Denver job openings listed on its careers Web page, including customer service manager and inside sales supervisor.
In Hitwise’s latest monthly report, Trulia was the fourth most highly trafficked real estate site in November, with a market share of 3.63 percent. The company said it doubled both its revenue and its workforce in 2010.
The new Denver office brings Trulia’s office count to three; the company has had a small sales office in New York City for almost five years and maintains its headquarters in San Francisco.
Last month, the company moved 180 of its roughly 200 employees to a new, 30,000 square-foot office in downtown San Francisco.
The Denver office is a 16,000 square-foot space in the Denver Tech Center, an industrial park that also houses the headquarters for RE/MAX International.
In 2010, we focused on building the best marketing solutions for the real estate industry and that fueled our revenue growth," said Georg Gerstenfeld, Trulia’s vice president of business services, in a statement.
"In 2011, we will continue to build products that drive the industry forward. We are focused on becoming the No. 1 marketing channel for real estate professionals to reach the tens of millions of consumers that visit Trulia.com."
Sami Inkinen, Trulia’s co-founder and chief operating officer, said in a statement, "After evaluating 25 different cities across the country it was clear that Denver is a technology hub with a very educated work force and a strong talent pool. We are excited to bring jobs to the region and better serve our growing customer base."
