A title insurance company in Southern California claims to be the first in the title and escrow industry to offer an iPhone app offering location-aware access to nationwide property, ownership, and sales comparables.
Irvine, Calif.-based Advantage Title’s Title365 Mobile app allows users in the field to pinpoint a property visually and retrieve complete, real-property details, sales comparables, transaction history, plat maps, tax data and other information. Users can see where they are in relation to nearby properties and easily retrieve information for those properties as well.
Users can also search for properties by address, owner or parcel number, the company said in a press release. Title365 Mobile offers a choice of hybrid, satellite and road map options, and can provide driving directions to pinpointed properties.
Title insurance information retrieved by the Title365 Mobile app can be shared with clients and colleagues via e-mail directly from the app, eliminating the need to go to other Internet sites or iPhone apps for this service.
The Title365 Mobile app is free, but users must have active Title365 transaction management platform accounts to access data.
Advantage Title is a regional provider of real estate transaction services with offices serving six counties in Southern California: Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, San Diego and Ventura.
