For-sale and rental site HotPads.com is the winner of a "Webby Award" in the real estate category, with Zillow.com taking home a "People’s Voice" award.
Also nominated in the real estate category were Naked Apartments, Trulia and The New York Times’s Real Estate Section.
HotPads.com won a "People’s Voice" award last year, while Trulia was picked by judges as the best real estate site (see story).
Now in its 14th year, the Webby Awards recognize outstanding Internet sites in nearly 70 categories, as chosen by members of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.
Sites are judged on content, structure and navigation, aesthetic, functionality, interactivity, and overall experience.
