Denver-based Herman Group Real Estate announced its affiliation with global residential real estate franchisor ERA Franchise Systems this week.
The real estate brokerage firm will now be known as ERA Herman Group Real Estate and adds more that 1,000 brokers and sales associates to ERA’s network of about 30,000. ERA is a subsidiary of Realogy Corp. and has about 2,600 offices worldwide.
The Herman Group was founded in 2004. It operates four offices in South Florida, 12 offices in Colorado, and one office in Wyoming. The Denver metro area is tracked in many housing indices, including the S&P’s Case-Shiller Home Price Indices, which marked the it as one of the six out of 20 metro areas that registered positive year-over-year gains in December.
Real Trends ranked The Herman Group as No. 134 among the country’s largest brokers in terms of volume for 2008 and No. 121 in terms of closed transaction sides. The company’s closed sales volume that year equaled $730 million with an average sales price of $242,000, and more than 3,000 closed transaction sides, according to ERA.
