Charles Moore, president and CEO of McGuire Real Estate, a family-run brokerage that operates in the San Francisco Bay Area, says he expects to see an "equilibrium where prices are meeting demand" in the housing market this year, with activity up from 2009.
Even though he expects 2010 will be an improvement from the "great transition" in 2009, it will still be a "hard year," he said, adding that he expects 2011 "will ultimately be the year we celebrate."
