Note from the reviewer: "I have used Real Estate Shows in the past. It won’t bias my judgment. Actually, there are tons more features since I last used it."
1. Ease. Is it easy to use for real estate professionals? For real estate consumers? How steep is the learning curve?
Real Estate Shows couldn’t be much easier to use or more intuitive whether you are creating a show or just watching one.
Strengths:
The process of creating a show is very simple but just in case you stumble, there are step by step video instructions. The videos are detailed and specific to a particular subject like "How to edit camera movement". The photo uploader automatically resizes the photos, often a problem for technology novices. Support is excellent and the Real Estate Shows Blog offers additional ideas and tips.
Weaknesses:
None.
Numeric rating, from zero to 100 (zero is the worst and 100 is the best):
100
Explanation for rating:
I can’t think of a single thing to make this program easier to use. There really is no learning curve . You can create a show the first time you log on. If you do have any questions, the 12 "How to Videos" will lend an online hand.
2. Value. Is it helpful and useful for real estate professionals? For their clients/customers/consumers? Cost vs. benefits: Is it worth the cost?
Real Estate Shows delivers an UNLIMITED number of 30, 60 or 90 second shows for its annual $125 fee.
Strengths:
The ease at which shows can be created is a real time saver. Although the largest show is limited to 15 photos, there is a link to allow for additional photos outside the regular show.
Weaknesses (250 words or less):
For the technology advanced user, there are other tools, some of them free, to showcase listings.
Numeric rating, from zero to 100 (zero is the worst and 100 is the best):
96
Explanation for rating (250 words or less):
$125 a year is a bargain considering what Real Estate Shows offers. If you are a tech wizard you can probably produce a free alternative but expect to invest more time in the process.
3. Power. Would real estate professionals and consumers be likely to use this often? Can it replace existing tools/methods? How much information and how many features does it put at the user’s fingertips? Does it have the power to change the industry? Can real estate professionals and consumers use this on the go? Is it innovative and cutting edge? Is it scalable (can be used by individuals and entire offices/companies)? Does it have advanced features for tech-savvy users? Does it integrate with other products?
Real Estate Shows is a product that real estate professionals can use often and consumers will enjoy and benefit from. In addition to creating shows for listings, you can use Real Estate Shows to promote neighborhoods, for holiday sentiments, or for any other promotion. You are limited only by your creativity. If you are not feeling creative, this product offers a number of pre-made instant shows for your use. You can also produce fliers and generate widgets of your shows to connect with the consumer on your blog or website. For the analytical, Real Estate Shows offers tracking reports which are useful tools to evaluate your show’s effectiveness and to share with your seller clients.
Real Estate Shows offers company accounts which gives agents their own fully functional account but also the ability to share their listings in a company inventory list.
Strengths:
The features of Real Estates Shows allow an agent to connect with consumers through email, and websites like Realtor.com, Trulia and Zillow, as well as social networking tools like Linked In, Twitter, Facebook, and You Tube. Importantly, you can post your show to your (multiple listing service) with the available MLS Compliant feature.
Weaknesses:
I wasn’t able to view a show on my iPhone. With many consumers going to the little screen for real estate resources, it would be a nice feature to have.
The ability to add more links would make this great product even better.
The photos in the shows produced are not super crisp. For those seeking better quality photos, they need to look at a "do it yourself" product or a more expensive option.
Numeric rating, from zero to 100 (zero is the worst and 100 is the best):
95
Explanation for rating:
The price, features, ease of use, and support of this product make it an excellent tool for real estate professionals. Even the tech savvy will find enough about this product to love.
