Consumers searching for sales prices on recently sold Southern California homes can now access that information on Realtor.com through the site’s Find Home Values feature.
Through a partnership with the Southern California MLS, actual sales prices will now be available within 24 hours of a sale’s closing, which is a significant improvement from before when county public records data took as long as 90 days to become available.
According to Realtor.com President Errol Samuelson, the more timely sales data "educates home buyers and sellers so they can have more productive and informed conversations with their real estate agent or broker."
Along with SoCalMLS, other major MLSs that feed their unique sold data to Realtor.com through Find Home Values include First MLS in Atlanta, the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors, the Northern Ohio Regional MLS, the Tucson Association of Realtors and the Northeast Florida MLS in Jacksonville.
