Long-term mortgage interest rates barely moved Wednesday, and the benchmark 10-year Treasury bond yield fell slightly to 4.9 percent.
The 30-year fixed-rate average edged down slightly at 6.28 percent, and the 15-year fixed rate dipped at 5.96 percent. The 1-year adjustable dipped to 5.55 percent.
The 30-year Treasury bond yield was unchanged at 5.03 percent.

Mortgage rate figures are according to Bankrate.com, which publishes nightly averages based on its survey of 4,000 banks in 50 states. Points on these mortgages range from zero to 3.5.
In other economic news, the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 68.12 points, or 0.5 percent, finishing at 13,785.07. The Nasdaq gained 8.31 points, or 0.31 percent, closing at 2,648.17.
