Whittier Marketplace, grocery-anchored retail center in Whittier, Calif., has sold for $38 million.
Encino-based Urbatec sold the 168,263-square-foot property to Los Angeles-based Whittier Marketplace LLC.
The asset, located at 11701-11891 Whittier Blvd., was fully occupied at the time of sale.
Built in 1992, and situated on 14.97 acres, the center consists of seven buildings occupied by Ralph’s (the grocery store anchor), Sav-on Drugs, AutoZone, Radio Shack, Subway and others. The property also includes Denny’s, McDonald’s, Blockbuster and Pacific Auto Spa that are on ground leases.
