Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler negotiated a 103,160-square-foot build-to-suit lease for Glen Ellyn Storage Corp. at a facility currently under construction in Carol Stream, Ill.
The value of the transaction was not disclosed.
The building, located at the northeast corner of Fullerton Avenue and Center Avenue, is set to be completed in February 2007. It will feature a majority of warehouse space, 6,000 square feet of office space, a 4,000-square-foot maintenance area, parking for 100 cars and 56 trailers, 18 exterior docks, four drive-in doors, 32-foot clear ceiling height, and an ESFR sprinkler system.
Northern Builders Inc. is developing the 8.6-acre site.
An agent for Mayflower Transit, Glen Ellyn Storage Corporation has been moving families, offices, products, and trade shows since 1927. The company required its new facility as the result of the consolidation of three Chicago-area facilities.
