Long-term mortgage interest rates were unchanged Monday, and the benchmark 10-year Treasury bond yield held at 4.67 percent.
The 30-year fixed-rate average stayed at 5.86 percent, and the 15-year fixed rate remained at 5.57 percent. The 1-year adjustable was unchanged at 5.35 percent.
The 30-year Treasury bond yield dipped to 4.78 percent.

Mortgage rate figures are according to Bankrate.com, which publishes nightly averages based on its survey of 4,000 banks in 50 states. Points on these mortgages range from zero to 3.5.
In other economic news, the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 3.76 points, or 0.03 percent, finishing at 12,086.5. The Nasdaq was up 13.15 points, or 0.56 percent, closing at 2,363.77.
