Realty Executives International has sold the franchising rights for the Central American country of Costa Rica, the company announced Thursday. Kelly Froelich and Ron Batt, both of Scottsdale, Ariz., purchased the franchise rights and plan to develop the Realty Executives brand throughout the country.
The first office is set to open by October in Jaco, a coastal community in the southern part of the country. Initially, Froelich and Batt plan to focus on selling franchises and recruiting in the Pacific coastal areas, including San Jose, the country’s capital city.
“We are thrilled to be expanding the Realty Executives brand into the growing country of Costa Rica. The tourism industry in Costa Rica is growing at such a rapid pace, and this will further expand our referral opportunities,” said Rich Rector, president and CEO of Realty Executives International.
Phoenix-based Realty Executives International is a privately held real estate franchise operating in 10 countries, including the United States, Canada, South Africa, Mexico, Australia, Israel, Indonesia and Singapore.
