ERA Real Estate this week announced that it added 27 residential real estate brokerage companies to its international franchise network during the second quarter.
The ERA network includes about 39,700 brokers and sales associates and 2,989 offices in the United States and in 29 other countries and territories, the company announced. Some offices are owned and operated by NRT Inc. while others are independently owned and operated.
Seventeen existing ERA affiliate companies expanded their market presence with new office openings during the quarter. Through a combination of new company affiliations and existing member growth, the ERA network added 51 new offices for the quarter — a 16 percent increase over new office expansion during the same quarter in 2005, the company reported.
And so far this year, ERA Real Estate has added more than 50 companies and 100 offices to its global real estate network.
Florida accounted for the largest area of growth for ERA Real Estate, with six new franchised brokerage companies and three existing franchisees combining to open 11 new ERA offices between April and June. ERA also expanded its network with six new affiliate companies in Texas and three newly affiliated brokerages apiece in California and North Carolina.
