ByOwnerMLS.com, an online source of for-sale-by-owner home listings, this week announced the launch of a free, online, public-domain listing service.
“ByOwnerMLS.com has developed relationships with multiple FSBO listing companies to provide would-be home buyers more access to residential properties in more neighborhoods, while also increasing exposure for private home sellers. No registration is required, and every property is linked back to its originating for-sale-by-owner site,” the company announced.
Dominic Muttillo, chief operating officer for ByOwnerMLS.com, said in a statement, “We believe that the for-sale-by-owner industry is one of the most minimally exposed and fragmented components of the real estate market. A unified multiple listing service is an important move towards giving consumers the same kind of access and resource that, until now, only Realtors could afford.”
The company states that its listing service for FSBO properties is “similar to the databases that Realtors use to sell or source residential properties,” and “combines access to thousands of properties nationwide through its network of listing partner site.”
ByOwnerMLS offers listings of homes, condos, timeshares, rentals, vacation homes, townhomes, multifamily housing, vacant land and commercial properties.
