Real estate search engine Trulia.com has beefed up its inventory of property listings that will show up in a consumer’s search query when looking for available real estate. The company has partnered with two major real estate franchisors, Realty Executives International and Help-U-Sell.
The latest agreements add about 65,000 listings to Trulia’s index, including 50,000 from Realty Executives franchise offices and 15,000 from Help-U-Sell, a flat-fee brokerage company with about 1,000 offices nationwide. Consumers looking for more information on a property will be linked to the appropriate listing company’s Web site.
Realty Executives property listings are already live on Trulia.com in Phoenix, Tucson and Las Vegas, with plans to be live in California, Florida, Illinois, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia and Washington during August and the remainder of their listings in markets across the country by October.
Trulia’s partnership with Realty Executives International includes more than 800 franchise offices worldwide.
Also in consort with Realty Executives, Trulia is offering a new option for searching for properties by school district as more families are looking for homes prior to the beginning of the school year and more buyers hold school district information in high regard when considering where to buy.
Realty Executives International recently announced the national launch of Homeworks, a marketing initiative piloted in Phoenix this year to help make teachers more aware of special loan programs that already exist for educators. The program aims to help teachers buy homes.
