Debbie E. Campagnola, former director of the Colorado Division of Real Estate, a state regulatory agency, has been hired to lead the Association of Real Estate License Law Officials (ARELLO). Her first day on the job is Aug. 1.
ARELLO‘s members include representatives for regulatory agencies in the United States, Canada, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, and islands in the Caribbean, Pacific and Atlantic. The purpose of the organization is to support the administration and enforcement of real estate license laws to promote and protect the public interest.
Campagnola fills the void left by Craig Cheatham, who left ARELLO to serve as president and CEO of The Realty Alliance, an organization of large brokerage companies. Campagnola also serve the Colorado Association of Realtors for 15 years working as the CEO and in other roles.
“Debbie Campagnola brings a unique combination of industry and regulatory experience, both of which prepare her well for this new role,” said ARELLO president Bob Myroniuk of Alberta, Canada.
As CEO, Campagnola will oversee ARELLO’s license status verification database, its disciplinary action data bank and other programs and technology services, according to the ARELLO announcement.
