The Real Estate Book a publisher of real estate information, today announced an agreement with RealtyTrac to publish its online property listings.
The deal makes The Real Estate Book the exclusive print publication provider of resale content to RealtyTrac, which maintains an online marketplace for foreclosure properties. RealtyTrac had about 3 million unique monthly visitors in April, according to comScore MediaMetrix data.
The Real Estate Book has a family of 450 magazines that have a combined monthly circulation of about 9 million, according to the announcement. The magazines are distributed across North America and in the Carribbean.
“As the world’s largest network of real estate magazines, it made sense for The Real Estate Book to partner with one of the fastest-growing real estate sites on the Internet to expand our portfolio of properties and offer our advertisers another source for high-quality leads,” stated Glenn Goad, executive vice president of consumer strategy at Network Communications, The Real Estate Book’s parent company.
The multiyear agreement will expand RealtyTrac’s property listings to include hundreds of thousands of resale homes from The Real Estate Book. All advertisers of The Real Estate Book will have their resale listings available on RealtyTrac’s Web site under the “Resale” tab.
The Real Estate Book listings will be available to consumers for free and with no registration required. Each property listing will be branded with The Real Estate Book logo and the leads will be delivered directly to The Real Estate Book advertisers, the companies announced.
“Adding resale properties from … The Real Estate Book to our Web site truly provides our subscribers with the broadest range of choices available on any real estate portal,” said James J. Saccacio, RealtyTrac CEO, in a statement. “Now home buyers and investors can choose from over 1 million resale properties, foreclosures, bank-owned homes, for-sale-by-owner and new construction properties.”
Through the alliance, RealtyTrac will become the exclusive provider of foreclosure properties on LivingChoices.com, the real estate portal site for Network Communications. Consumers will be able to search the RealtyTrac database from several locations at the LivingChoices site.
