The RE/MAX International real estate franchise system has expanded in Europe, as the company on Friday announced the sale of franchising rights for Hungary and Romania.
Balázs Posta and Bence Kesthely have purchased the rights for RE/MAX franchising in Hungary and will serve as co-region owners and regional directors.
Posta has worked numerous years in the real estate industry as a developer and in the mortgage business and holds TEGOVA, the European real estate certification, and FÜTI Omega, the Realtor and surveyor certification. Kesthely, who is fluent in English, German and Hungarian, has worked both in commercial real estate and in the commercial printing industry, and also holds FÜTI Omega.
Franchising rights for RE/MAX offices in Romania have been purchased by two associates currently based in Canada. Adrian Sischin, a native of Romania, along with Gabriel Bianchi, a 20-year veteran of the real estate industry, are the new co-region owners of RE/MAX Romania. Both are affiliated with RE/MAX Premier in Toronto where Bianchi is the broker/owner. They will temporarily operate from Canada with plans to relocate the regional operations to Romania later this year. Sischin will serve as regional director for the new company.
Hungary, which is located in central Europe, northwest of Romania, has a population of 9.9 million, according to a press statement. Romania, located in southeastern Europe, bordering the Black Sea between Bulgaria and Ukraine, has a population of 22.3 million.
The RE/MAX franchise network is a global real estate system with more than 6,300 independently owned offices and 118,500 sales associates.
