GMAC Real Estate‘s franchise operations division added 10 new franchisees nationwide during the first quarter of 2006, the company reported Thursday.
The 10 franchisees included: A.C.R.E. GMAC Real Estate, Montgomery, Ala.; Award GMAC Real Estate, Osceola, Ind.; Country Ranch GMAC Real Estate, Bullhead City, Ariz.; Entrepreneur GMAC Real Estate, Reno, Nev.; GMAC Real Estate International Properties, New York, N.Y.; GMAC Real Estate Nags Head Properties, Nags Head, N.C.; GMAC Real Estate The Realty Team, Winston-Salem, N.C.; Pacific Union GMAC Real Estate, Santa Rosa, Calif.; Page Taft GMAC Real Estate, Guilford, Conn.; and Ron Borders GMAC Real Estate, Valdosta, Ga.
“Last year was a record-breaker for us in terms of our number of new franchisees, and we’re off to a great start already in 2006,” said Lane Barnett, president and chief executive officer of GMAC Real Estate’s Franchise Operations.
GMAC Real Estate offers a Premier Service program through which sales associates put in writing the services they will perform for clients. Following the transaction, GMAC Real Estate agents ask their customers to honestly rate their performance through a survey conducted and tabulated by a third-party company. Individual survey results provide each sales associate – and the company as a whole – with ongoing feedback.
The company said it has received a 94 percent customer satisfaction rating, based on 75,000 completed consumer surveys.
GMAC Home Services is one of the largest real estate organizations in North America, and its operations include: GMAC Real Estate franchised offices; company-owned offices; GHS Mortgage, and GMAC Global Relocation Services. GMAC Real Estate has about 1,300 franchised and company-owned real estate offices throughout the United States and Canada, and about 22,000 sales associates.
