Long-term mortgage interest rates remained mostly the same on Wednesday, and the benchmark 10-year Treasury bond yield increased to 4.98 percent.
The 30-year fixed-rate average was unchanged at 6.07 percent, and the 15-year fixed-rate dipped slightly to at 5.75 percent. The 1-year adjustable decreased to 5.16 percent.
The 30-year Treasury bond yield increased to 5.06 percent.

Mortgage rate figures are according to Bankrate.com, which publishes nightly averages based on its survey of 4,000 banks in 50 states. Points on these mortgages range from zero to 3.5.
In other economic news, the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 40.34 points, or 0.36 percent, finishing at 11,129.97. The Nasdaq gained 4.33 points, or 0.19 percent, closing at 2,314.68.
