ZipRealty has expanded its real estate brokerage footprint into Tampa, Fla., the company said today, and licensed agents are actively working with clients within the market.
Tampa joins Miami as the company’s second active market in Florida and the 16th nationally.
Visitors to ZipRealty’s Web site have access to all information and data available on the local multiple listing service. A growing team of ZipRealty employee-agents is currently working with buyers and sellers throughout Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco counties, the company said.
ZipRealty is a national full-service real estate brokerage that rebates home buyers 20 percent of its commissions, and home sellers up to 25 percent less than the standard market commission.
“We’re excited to be active in Tampa, and we’re confident our consumer-centric model will resonate well with residents here as it has in Miami and all of the other markets where we operate,” said ZipRealty CEO Eric Danziger. “MLS data for Tampa has been available on the ZipRealty Web site for the past six weeks as we developed our initial team and we’re encouraged by the consumer response to date.”
Ric Carter, a 10-year Florida resident, serves as the district director for ZipRealty in Tampa, and oversees recruiting and training efforts for ZipRealty’s local real estate agents.
