Technology company O2 Interactive has released a new version of its customer management system, OnSite CRM, a product for residential home builders and design centers.

Onsite CRM Version 3.0 now includes an interface with wireless BlackBerry devices, interactive flooring and electrical editors, geographic prospect analysis, among other features, the company announced today.

OnSite CRM for BlackBerry provides similar features to those found in the standard version of OnSite CRM, the company reported. OnSite CRM for BlackBerry allows people in the field to access customer information; lot inventories, and manages punch lists during quality control inspections. The wireless punch lists also allow the field manager to submit service requests directly to OnSite CRM for immediate action. “Future releases will incorporate a broader range of functionality from OnSite CRM,” O2 announced.

OnSite CRM’s interactive, graphical flooring editor allows the designer to incorporate flooring zones directly into the builder’s floor plans. The flooring zones can be re-shaped to any configuration to calculate accurate floor areas to be used for real-time pricing for the buyer. OnSite CRM’s flooring editor can be used to estimate floor area and scrap for carpet, tile, and laminates. Graphical and colorful reports provide guides during installation, and can help to avoid miscommunications between the designer, buyer and installer, the company reported.

The same graphical editor can be used to lay out standard and buyer-added electrical items, such as ceiling light fixtures and plugs.

OnSite CRM also offers interactive maps that can be used to show the location of prospects interested in a builder’s community. “Geographical layouts of prospects and buyers provide the marketing professional greater insight into the draw of customers based on various marketing campaigns, demographics, and proximity,” the company announced.
