Former gas jock now helps drivers (and others) find destinations

As marketing manager for MapQuest Business Solutions, Ian Pilling leads all business segment and product marketing initiatives for the group. He does strategic marketing, lead generation and public relations, and handles communications with MapQuest’s more than 1,400 enterprise customers. He joined MapQuest in early 2004.

Previously, Pilling was involved with several early-stage technology companies in senior marketing and product management roles, helping set corporate and product strategy and bringing new software products to market.

MapQuest’s marketing manager started his career serving in a variety of campaign and legislative roles for a member of Congress. He holds a B.A. in political science from Hobart College.

Pilling will speak during Real Estate Connect in New York City, Jan. 11-13, 2006.
