ProLogis, a provider of distribution facilities and services, has leased a 297,000-square-foot industrial building it is developing in northwest Houston to Goodman Manufacturing Co.
The value of the transaction was not disclosed.
The lease for the new building is part of a combined 700,000-square-foot transaction at ProLogis Park Jersey Village Corporate Center. Goodman, a national producer of heating and air-conditioning equipment, has also renewed an existing lease for 403,000 square feet at the park. The new building is expected to be completed in the first half of 2006.
The park is located at the intersection of Beltway 8 and U.S. 290 (the Northwest Freeway), approximately 14 miles from Houston’s central business district. At full build-out, the park will comprise more than 1.2 million square feet of industrial space.
ProLogis Park Jersey Village Corporate Center functions as the central distribution point for Goodman in North America. Goodman also leases more than 150,000 square feet of space at other ProLogis facilities in Austin and San Antonio, Texas; Reno, Nev.; Miami and Tampa, Fla.; and Hayward, Calif.
