Tarasoft and Most Home Technologies today jointly announced the launch of a new browser-based wireless MLS service, Matrix Wireless, which gives agents instant access to multiple listing service property data on a variety of popular wireless devices including the Palm, Pocket PC and BlackBerry.
Matrix Wireless will be rolled out to more than 100,000 real estate professionals over the next few months on a site-wide basis to each of Tarasoft’s customers including Metropolitan Regional Information Systems, Greater South Bay Regional MLS, MRMLS of Southern California, and RMLS of Minnesota.
Making its debut at the National Association of Realtors 2005 Conference and Expo Oct. 28 to 31 in San Francisco, Matrix Wireless allows real estate professionals to search and retrieve critical listing data in seconds — including full color property photos — anytime and anywhere that cellular coverage is available.
Brian de Schepper, executive director of Tarasoft, said Matrix Wireless rounds out the MLS offering they provide to their customers by making a wireless extension available that helps real estate professionals continue to serve their customers efficiently while out in the field.
“Every day there are more agents investing in wireless devices to increase their productivity and level of customer service,” de Schepper said. “Wireless MLS service is an obvious fit.”
MRIS will be the first Matrix customer to go live with Matrix Wireless in November 2005.
Most Home Technologies is a newly formed subsidiary of Most Home Corp., a technology and services company specializing in Internet and wireless products for the real estate industry.
