A six-building, 42-unit apartment portfolio in Boston’s South End district has sold for $11 million, according to an announcement Monday from NAI Hunneman Commercial.

The portfolio, which totals 42,240 square feet, consists of six separate Victorian-style apartment buildings, one located at 23 Cortes Street and five located on a single block at 676, 684, 686, 690, and 692 Tremont Street.

All six buildings, built circa 1900, were rehabbed in the 1970’s and are currently being used as apartment rentals. The building at 23 Cortes Street contains 13 apartment units and each of the five buildings on Tremont Street contains six apartment units, except for 676 Tremont, which contains five apartment units. Together, there are 12 three-bedroom, 21 two-bedroom, six one-bedroom and three studio units.
