Real estate firms in St. Louis and Boca Grande, Fla., have joined the Sotheby’s International Realty network, the company reported today. In addition, the Sotheby’s International Realty affiliate for The Bahamas has opened five offices and will provide luxury real estate services for all of the islands comprising this Caribbean nation.
Dielmann Realtors, a company that offers exceptional real estate services the St. Louis metropolitan area, will now do business as Dielmann Sotheby’s International Realty. The company has one office and is owned by Andy and Susan Dielmann.
Gulf to Bay Properties is a firm specializing in distinctive and waterfront homes on Gasparilla Island, Fla., a seven-mile long island located in the Gulf of Mexico. The firm is owned by Donna Moore and Richard Taylor and will now do business as Gulf to Bay Sotheby’s International Realty. The firm has one office in Boca Grande and is the latest company in Florida to join the network. Sotheby’s International Realty offices are also located in Miami, Palm Beach, Sarasota, Satellite Beach and Jacksonville.
In addition, the affiliate for the Sotheby’s International Realty brand in The Bahamas has opened five offices to provide luxury real estate services for all of the islands comprising this Caribbean nation. The firm, which joined the network in July, will operate four offices as Damianos Sotheby’s International Realty, and a fifth office as Lyford Cay Properties Sotheby’s International Realty. The firm is owned by George Damianos and Virginia Damianos-Premock and specializes in the finest luxury properties The Bahamas has to offer, including waterfront estates, beachfront condominiums, private islands and vacation homes.
Real estate firms that join the Sotheby’s International Realty network gain access to marketing, advertising, public relations, training and referral programs.
In February 2004, Cendant Corp., a large real estate brokerage franchisor, entered into a long-term strategic alliance with Sotheby’s Holdings. The agreement provided for the licensing of the Sotheby’s International Realty name and the development of a full franchise system by Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates, a Cendant subsidiary. The agreement also included the acquisition of the company-owned real estate brokerage offices by NRT Inc., a Cendant subsidiary that owns and operates those offices today as Sotheby’s International Realty.
