Prime retail space sold in San Francisco

Colliers International completed the sale of two retail properties previously owned by the McEvoy Family Trusts in the heart of San Francisco’s Union Square.

The deals totaled approximately 28,153 square-feet of space and $16.9 million in value.

The Cartier building, located at 233 Post St., sold to Angelo and Yvonne Sangiacomo for approximately $13.3 million. The square footage of the recently purchased asset totaled approximately 24,043 square-feet. 

The second property, 134 Maiden Lane, occupied by Pierre Deux, was sold to Litchmann & Co., a private investment group, for approximately $3.6 million. The square footage of the property totaled approximately 4,110 square-feet on 3 levels.

The properties were purchased by the McEvoy family more than 60 years ago, and have never entered the market until now, according to a press statement.
