Wells Real Estate Investment Trust II Inc. purchased Nashoba Corporate Center, a two-building, class A office and R&D property encompassing more than 458,000 square feet in Westford, Mass.
The value of the transaction was not disclosed.
At the time of sale, the two buildings were 100 percent occupied by Lucent Technologies, which designs, builds, and delivers a wide range of public and private networks, communications systems and software, and data networking systems. The company is on a long-term lease through January 2017.
One Robbins Road consists of a three-story building totaling more than 298,000 square feet, of which approximately 70 percent is office space and 30 percent is lab space. The building was fully renovated in 1997.
Four Robbins Road is a two-story building constructed in 2002, consisting of 160,000 square feet. Both buildings are part of a 95-acre corporate campus that overlooks the Nashoba Valley Ski Area.
Nashoba View Associates, a partnership between The Chiofaro Co. and the AFL-CIO, sold the property.
Wells Real Estate Funds is a national real estate investment management company that purchases office and industrial properties.
