Title companies now can automatically request property tax certificates or search for property tax records when processing residential real estate transactions through a new partnership between National Tax Search and Hall Settlement Systems.
Hall’s Web-based title and settlement management system, eTitleAxis, automates the process of order entry, transaction management and status reporting, title production, escrow closing and settlement and recordation and policy issuance.
The eTitleAxis system will now be integrated with National Tax Search’s TaxQ system.
With a click of a button during the open order process in eTitleAxis, a user can electronically request a property tax search without having to leave the application. There is no need to submit a request through another Web site or phone in a tax search request. All interaction with National Tax Search is managed within eTitleAxis.
Once the tax search is completed, eTitleAxis receives data through its XML interface, automatically creates and publishes a tamperproof tax certificate.
