SharperLending has beefed up its Web services, making it possible for lenders to place a single order for any number of vendor services without leaving the software they normally use, the company said Friday.
Lenders can now order appraisals, credit reports and other third-party information on SharperLending via their familiar software. SharperLending provides a secure Web-based platform where lenders can order, store and manage products and services from multiple vendors.
“Web services is one of the most dramatic advances in the mortgage industry, providing a superior level of integration between lenders and vendors,” said Dave Black, president and CEO of SharperLending, in a statement. “Lenders can use SharperLending to assemble best-of-breed services into one system.”
With SharperLending’s new version of Web services, lenders gain quick access to third-party services and data and vendors do not have to make significant changes to their software or storage processes, the company said.
