Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates Inc. on Tuesday announced that it has entered into a franchise agreement with Aspen Land & Homes LLC, an independently owned and operated company specializing in luxury homes in Aspen, Colo., and surrounding areas.
The company will now do business as Aspen Land & Homes Sotheby’s International Realty.
Aspen Land & Homes was founded in 1999 by Carmelo “Sonny” D’Anna, who has more than 35 years in the real estate industry. The company is headquartered at 0115 Boomerang Road in Aspen, and has four additional offices in Aspen, Aspen Glen in Carbondale, Basalt and Glenwood Springs. The company currently has approximately 50 sales associates.
During 2004 the company’s five offices had approximately $202 million in closed sales volume, more than double its 2003 figure of $80 million, according to a press statement.
Aspen Land & Homes is the newest company in Colorado to become part of the Sotheby’s International Realty network. Peaks Real Estate, based in Telluride, joined the luxury network in October 2004.
Sotheby’s International Realty Inc. is comprised of a real estate brokerage operation and a franchise/affiliate system of independently owned and operated real estate companies.
