First American and SharperLending have teamed up to offer lenders a complete suite of bundled settlement services. Under the agreement, lenders will have access to settlement services such as credit reports, flood certifications, property valuation services, document preparation, and title and closing services.
The deal will enable First American to use the SharperLending platform to reach lender markets it traditionally does not target, company officials said. In turn, SharperLending can offer First American services to its customers.
SharperLending is a Web-based platform that allows lenders to order, store and manage mortgage products at a single point of entry. It is a vendor neutral platform in which lenders can order a range of ancillary services.
First American’s primary business segments include title insurance and services, specialty insurance, trust and other services, mortgage information, property information, credit information and screening information.
