Voyager 360 today launched a new real estate listings marketing system for agent and broker Web sites that enables them to syndicate their listings on real estate-related Web sites in the U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom.
The Listings Syndicator enables brokers using the Voyager 360 Web site service to select any listing they want to be pushed out to the company’s network of more than 1,000 Web sites. Like the broker reciprocity–or IDX–program, these participating Web sites include other Voyager brokers. For example, a broker in Santa Fe, N.M., who uses the syndicator would have his or her listings appear on a broker’s Web site in Dallas, and vice versa.
Brokers using the program can opt in or opt out each listing individually. Each listing is branded with the listing agent’s name, picture and contact information, and will be displayed on rotation.
Bart Wilson, co-founder and chief marketing officer for Voyager, said the company is working on a feature that will enable agents to choose the kinds of listings or geographic areas of listings they’d like to display on their own Web sites. An agent who specializes in luxury homes can specify that only high-end listings appear on their Web site, or someone wanting only starter homes can specify that category of listings.
“We’ve essentially created a very large net that any agent or broker can cast out to an international audience with just two mouse clicks,” Wilson said.
He pointed to the added exposure and prospective referral relationships among agents in different markets as reasons for launching the Listings Syndicator program. The company also is looking into including home builder Web sites and for-sale-by-owner listings in the program.
Voyager 360 provides MLS management systems, automated listings management tools, Internet search engine marketing and custom broker and agent Web sites, along with IDX tools.
The company recently announced plans to open their European offices in Scotland. Brokers who want to expose their listings to prospective buyers overseas can choose to syndicate them on those Web sites once the U.K. operations are up and running.
