Assist-2-Sell, among the largest residential discount real estate companies in North America, has grown about 23.5 percent this year with the addition of 70 franchises, the company announced today. In May and June alone, the company added 39 franchises.
Formed in 1987, the Reno, Nev.-based discounter has 368 franchises in the United States and Canada, and its franchises are in 44 U.S. states.
“Thanks to consistent and steadily increasing demand from home sellers, the growth of Assist-2-Sell continues to strengthen,” company founders Mary LaMeres-Pomin and Lyle E. Martin said in a joint statement. “Sellers tell us they’re excited when Assist-2-Sell enters their communities.”
Assist-2-Sell cofounders and co-owners Mary LaMeres-Pomin and Lyle E. Martin announced the owner-operated franchise totals, which include 19 franchises added in June 2004 and 20 in May.
Among the new franchises opened in the past couple of months: Desert Hills, Gilbert, Mesa and Paradise Valley, Ariz.; Corona, Encinitas, Lake Elsinore, Manifee Valley, Palm Desert, Riverside, San Juan Capistrano and San Mateo, Calif.; South Boulder, Colo.; North Bonita Springs, Deltona, Fleming Island, Fruit Cove, Lehigh, Lutz, Homestead, Palm Bay, Northwest St. John’s County, Northwest Arlington, West Palm Beach and Samoset, Fla.; Idaho Falls, Idaho; Mililani Town, Hawaii; Algonquin, Forest View and Huntley, Ill.; Greenfield, Ind.; Lakeville, Minn.; Mount Airy, Md.; Battle Creek, Mich.; Chesterfield and Sunset, Mo.; Bethany, Ore.; Coventry, Penn.; and East Sioux Falls, S.D.
Assist-2-Sell franchises offer a range of services, from a paperwork-only program for a flat fee to a full multiple listing marketing plan. Home buyers who work with Assist-2-Sell have the option to purchase homes direct from Assist-2-Sell sellers.
