- The World Wide Web Consortium will host the 13th International World Wide Web conference in New York City, May 17-22. Attendees will discuss trends in business on the Web, blogging, gaming and Webcasting, among other topics.
- Inman News will host an audio conference about Transaction Management Systems on May 20. The conference is free to members.
- The Public Housing Authorities Directors Association will hold its annual convention May 16-19, in New Orleans. Conference topics include fraud and abuse in assisted housing programs, energy savings in lighting, environmental issues and alternative sources of funding for affordable housing.
- The 2004 Michigan Conference on Affordable Housing will kick off May 17-19 in Lansing, Mich. More than 1,200 are expected to attend to take part in education, networking and deal making opportunities.
- The National Community Investment Fund’s 2004 Network Conference will take place May 18-19 in Los Angeles. The event brings together senior executives of the nation’s leading community development banking institutions, investors, regulators and other community partners to explore capitalization, operations and retail financial services updates.
